Discovering what pregnant women are looking for was a very helpful experience for finding maternity clothes. Shopping together with two expecting mom’s was rather a fun and rewarding experience. It went like this…shop for 20 minutes, stop for washroom break, and eat, rest, then shop for 20 minutes, eat, bathroom, rest. They discovered some essential items that they were not leaving without.

Items that are a must are the nursing tank tops. They act like a bra plus offer comfort and style. Nursing tank tops can be worn under a sweater or cardigan. Plus they come in many colors so you can mix and match to make a variety of different outfits.

Maternity jeans are a popular item to add to any maternity wardrobe. Maternity jeans are comfortable, flexible, and can go with many different styles of tops. They can be dressed up or dressed down. You only need one pair for the next couple of months and you will get your money’s worth in no time.

Depending on your life style or work environment, will determine the types of clothing needed for your wardrobe for the next couple of months. One of the two expecting mom’s had to look for dress clothes. We picked out essentials to make her a beauty at work without losing her style. A black maternity dress was chosen. This can be used under her blazers she uses for work. Leaving the buttons open on her blazers allows her to use her same clothes. A navy maternity dress was the next purchase. Between the two bold colors she was able to make many different outfits with her blazers.

Another essential item was discovered for both pregnant moms’ were black pants and a black skirt. You really can’t go wrong with black.

The most exciting purchase that was bought on the trip was a bathing suit. You can find some amazingly adorable maternity bathing suits in a variety of colors. Also, to add to this collection, most of the maternity stores we ventured into offered the most comfortable and stylish underwear. You Do Not need to buy granny underwear. You are still young and beautiful so buy good quality underwear that’s attractive. I know personally, when I have a nice set of underwear on, I feel much more sexy and attractive.
